75 Years of Annie Get Your Gun

Irving Berlin’s Annie Get Your Gun first premiered on Broadway 75 years ago! The original 1946 production was wildly successful – spawning multiple revivals, national tours and a 1950 musical film.

The story is a musical tale about the life of Annie Oakley, a sharpshooter who starred in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West, and her romance with sharpshooter Frank E. Butler.

The musical’s message hits the mark in a testament to the power of female ingenuity, and features unforgettable classics like “Anything You Can Do,” “There’s No Business Like Show Business” and “I Got The Sun In The Morning.”
